We're thrilled to announce that our fundraising efforts for Alzheimer's Research UK and Andy Haliday's remarkable feat in running the London Marathon while dribbling a hockey ball have been a resounding success! Through a collective effort, we raised an impressive £1350 to support Alzheimer's Research UK in their crucial work toward finding a cure for this debilitating disease.
Our fundraising initiative was made possible through a raffle, generously supported by a host of sponsors. Prizes ranged from experiences at local businesses like Husk Brewery, The Massage Company Canning Town, The Wick CrossFit, Crate Brewery, Rusty Bike, and Junkyard Golf, to contributions from notable figures and organizations within the hockey community, including England Hockey, Maddie Hinch, Hackney Wick Community Sauna and Baths, Hawkin Sport, and TK Hockey.
This achievement truly underscores the power of community and highlights our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed, whether through donations, participation, or sponsorship. Together, we're making strides toward a brighter future and supporting individuals like Andy Haliday who inspire us with their extraordinary dedication and passion.
We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
