East London Hockey Club Launches Special 35th Anniversary Logo

East London Hockey Club is celebrating its 35th anniversary with the launch of a new commemorative logo. 

Founded in 1991 as a hockey team within the Metropolitan Police, East London Hockey Club has evolved into a thriving sports and social club.

Today our membership boasts an impressive 500 members spanning all ages, genders and skill levels, with eight men’s and eight women’s teams competing in the London Hockey League.

The anniversary logo reflects this remarkable journey and honours the passion, inclusivity, and pride that define the club today.

Club Chair, Alexander Reeves, said: “This is a landmark year for East London Hockey Club. Our 35th anniversary logo captures the energy, diversity, and community spirit that define us.

"It offers a chance to reflect with pride on all we have achieved together, while also looking ahead to the next chapter in our journey. We hope it inspires all our members, past and present, to join us in celebrating this milestone.”

The anniversary year will feature a programme of special events, including a showcase All-Stars match and a celebratory dinner, bringing together players, alumni, families, and supporters to mark the occasion.

East London Hockey Club is inviting everyone associated with the club to get involved and share their ideas on how they would like to celebrate this special milestone.

Whether on the pitch, at social gatherings, or through supporting the events, the club invites all members of the community to be part of the 35th anniversary celebrations.
